Vehicle code/ model settings
The previous owner of my 2006 rx 400h I guess was messing around in the service menu and changed something so it thinks it is a different vehicle (he assumed a Toyota Tacoma) The result is the majority of the panel buttons on the dash don't work or do something other then they are supposed to. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this from updating the software to replacing the entire navigation drive itself. Is there anyway to restore the vehicle code or factory reset it or something?

Since you have not been able to resolve this yourself, I suggest that you take the car to the dealer and let them reprogram it. It will cost you, but the car will be what it is supposed to be.
