2007 RX350 Nav Screen flickering problem and more
Hi there,
I bought a 2007 RX350 with SAT NAV. A couple of problems.
When I push the voice command button on the steering wheel a message comes on the screen for just a fraction of a sec and disappears. I tried to read it and it says something like "Go to Phone Screen" I did and the same problem there!!
Also, time to time and depends on the screen and what is on at the moment (like when you have GPS guide on and it tries to split the screen to show next turn) screen goes crazy flickering, jumping and all. when the picture changes it goes back to ok.
Also when I try to use GPS guide to using turn by turn guide, sometimes the lady vice of route guide works and sometimes no voice at all!! The screen looks ok and shows the route and everything but no lady's voice. I have radio etc sound ok.
Any idea what is wrong?? Do I need a new NAV unit??

Also in general, if electronic issues are intermittent, always best to verify all connections, contacts & wiring for defects.
My info is based on a RX330, although the RX350 is most likely the same.
