Smile DRL stopped working

I have a RX400h and I suddenly noticed that the DRL don't come on? Not sure how long this has been. Both high and low headlights work. I think there's a relay but not sure how to check and assume if it is I can buy a replacement. Just want to fix this and not have to pay the Lexus service.
Thanks.

The car was running. Both my high and low beam work....I thought the DRL work off the low beam bulb? Is there a separate bulb just for the DRL?
thanks.

The high beam bulbs are used for the DRLs. They run at a lower intensity during the day. If one burns out, they will both stop working as DRLs. However, if you turn on the highbeams, the working bulb will come on. This is because of how the car is wired. Also, the lights won't turn on until the parking brake has been released.

Thanks. I tried to answer but not sure if it went? The high beam is out on drivers side. The video's I saw seemed complicated along with the high price I saw listed. Any thoughts on this?

If the high beam is out on the driver's side, then neither of the running lights will work. The bulbs are easy to replace. Just pick them up at Auto Zone (or wherever) and the instructions are in the owner's manual. I would replace both, otherwise the color will likely be off and the other bulb is probably due to burn out soon.

Here is a link to a video that shows how to replace it on an RX400h.
