I want to know what modifications, add-ons, hacks, etc. people have done with their RXs. There has been a somewhat similar thread on this, but it is filled with posts of people mentioning that they got an oil change or changed their brakes.

DON'T POST REGULAR MAINTENANCE. We all do oil changes, replace our windshield wipers, get new tires and tint our windows...So unless you put in special oil that makes the car invisible to police, we don't care.

DO POST things like add-on lights, stereo equipment, after-market rims, computer/nav hacks, etc.

Let's all see what kind of cool things we can do with our cars.

Some of the most interesting items are those modifications made by infinirx. Sure, you need to wade through the chaff, however, there is some very good information in there. There are also a number of existing threads on stereo modifications, so no need to rehash that either.

 

Yeah...That is the exact thread I am trying to avoid. 43 pages of posts and about 30 of them just have people letting everyone know that they got a new battery.

 

That is because the thread is titled, The Official "What have you done to your RX today thread" There is a similar thread over in 3rd Generation RX. Much of their thread has pictures of their vehicles after a car wash or a wax.

Just trying to point out there is already a great deal of this information already out there if you search. Including the stereo/infotainment upgrades. Sure, some of the links are broken by now and pictures have been pulled. New information can come here, however, do not forget about the mods done in the past when searching for ideas.

I'm in TX as well, DFW by chance? I only ask because I want to look out for the lexus being pulled over by the cops for flashing red lights on both sides of the vehicle!

 

As long as the red light is not being directed towards the front of the vehicle, I'm good! Keep looking!
