Overhead light?

Hello All,

I just bought a 2010 RX 350 w/ 19K miles first Lexus. How do I turn the overhead lights on when I open the door? They come in when I press the light button but not when I unlock!?!?!?
Please help Thanks!, David

PS Where do I buy a lexus warranty at a great cost? I have until June.

from what has been said on here, best to buy warranty from lexus if it still avil. aftermarket places are just not trustworthy and might go out of business before your term is up

If so, then you can purchase a Lexus warranty. You say you have until June, so I am assuming you are still under the Basic Warranty. Here at CL Jerry@Midwest Toyota has always been the main go to person for these warranties:

However, if you are now outside the Basic Warranty you only have third-party warranties from which to select from and to be honest many are not worth the paper they are printed on. Best to just keep your money and deal with matters as they arise.

As for the interior lights, there is much to be found in the Owner's Manual as well as in previous discussions already existing here at CL for you to search. Many questions such as these have already been answered. There are also some adjustments you will want to check out regarding Lexus Personalized Settings the previous owner may have set which you will want to have changed. Talk to your dealer about these:
