Default First Lexus...was a gift!

Just signed up, thought I'd say hi. Just became a Lexus owner and signed up as this seems to be the place for all things Lexus. Got myself a 2005 RX330...actually was gifted to me so I got quite the steal It's got 195,000 miles on it but she is in close to showroom condition!

Anyway, anyone care to give a preference on bluetooth speakerphones? T505 or Roadster2? And what do you use to hold your cell phone in your car? Cupholder? I've been looking around, but would love to hear personal experience.

Thanks

Congrats!!! Awesome you got it as a gift. Definitely just make sure all the maintenance at that mileage has been taken care of.

Now in regards to the bluetooth, I'm a little confused on what you may be asking. The car itself has built in bluetooth and uses the car speakers to output or input the voices. It sounds pretty clear as well. I wouldn't spend anything extra for that. And yes I use the cupholder for my phone. More preference I guess if you need a holder for your phone.

EDIT: Just thought about it and I wrongly assumed for some reason that yours came with the whole navi setup which comes with the bluetooth. The fact that your asking for a good bluetooth speaker, I can figure it didn't come with it. Sorry. I dont know why I didnt catch that right away. Anyways, I have never purchased or looked into bluetooth speakers before, hopefully someone can chime in on this. Enjoy.

Here is a couple pics. Car is in excellent condition. 195,000 miles believe it or not. Only problem is this small dent on the passenger front wheel fender. Inside and out is really clean. New tires, shocks, breaks, all fluids changed. Should be good to go for another 100k...what do you say.

Good looking condition, check out PDR (paintless dent repair) if it matters to you.
Doesn't seem to be too bad of a repair.

That's a hell of a gift!!!!!!!
Nice car!
Keep us updated with your miles (250,000 and beyond).
With regular maintenance it should last you many more years!

Grats. As long as you take care of it, you can take it another 100k.

Default update

So I've had my RX for almost 5 years now. Man, has it served me well! It currently has over 320,000 miles on it. Last summer my wife and I drove it from Boston to Chicago and back. 1200 miles each way with no breaks. Even while gassing up, the car stayed on. I've had to put some maintenance into it. New radiator, front wheel bearings, and recently an O2 sensor...of course the most expensive one. But even with all that, $500/yr average maintenance cost is nothing. My wife loves the car, as she is the daily driver now. When it goes in for service, Lexus is nice enough to give us a loaner. Usually a new RX or NX. My wife seems to prefer ours as it's much simpler inside. Hoping one day the dealer offers us a straight up trade😀 but in all seriousness, how can our Lexus be replaced for $5000 or so....it can't so until it needs a new motor or rots completely, it seems like a lifer. I'm ok with that!

320,000 and bringing it to the dealer, now that's impressive. Enjoy it
