Engine Wire Harness/Neutral Position Switch
Is it possible that the Neutral Position Switch pins could become separated and corroded as a natural course in an aging vehicle? RX330 2005
The car was in a serious rear end collision which pushed the car into three other cars. So both rear and front end damage about 4 yrs ago. Wondering what the likelyhood is that the separation of the pins and corrosion could be as a result of the collision?

What you are asking is possible, but impossible for us to answer with any accuracy. If we knew how bad the damage was and exactly how the body shop did the repairs, we would have a 50-50 chance.
Since the accident was 4 years ago, the problem may not even be accident related. You have a 12 year old car and things do fail from old age.
