Default thoughts on mudguards??

what are your thoughts on mud guards??? I live on the east coast and in DC we get brutal winters, as well as a ton of rain, so the car seems to be getting dirty quite a bit cause of the splash coming up from the tires, wondering what you guys think, or if you guys even have them...im sure people in the south dont think much of them since they usually have nice waether year round, but what about anyone else.

p.s if any of you have taken them off and would like to unload them to a fella RX owners, please p/m me as I will take them off your hands.

The mud guards are a necessity if you live on the east coast. It substantially cuts down on the tires flinging dirt and snow on the sides. The only downside is they require a little drilling to install them.

yeah, doesnt seem hard at all to install, I guess I might need to get these for my SO, we already got her the lexus Trunk Mat, and the WeatherTech Floorliners, so might as well make sure she is fully ready for winter, and rain when time comes.

hopefuly a few of the people that modded or have kits, want to unload them to a CL member for a small fee. I know Sewell has them for $78+shipping.

You're right about not needing them in the South. They came standard on the RX300 and I took the guards off in an effort to bring some sort of symmetry to my little toaster...

Loved that car.

I love it. Gives you a complete look. A bit tedious to install but I like it.

I have rear mudguards but have never seen a picture of an RX330 with the front mudguards installed. Has anyone got a picture that they would like to post up of a stock RX330 with both front and rear mudguards?
