2004 RX330 AWD. I've averaged 23mpg over the life of the vehicle. I drive 80/20 highway/city. With 91 octane pure gas (no ethanol) I get as 26-28 MPG on the freeway.
Q5. Is this current with the summer fuel mix or all year long to include the winter fuel mixture?
A person with the earlier 2004 RX330 with AWD, running Bridgestone Alenza tires and 87 octane summer blend fuel would do worse than someone with a newer 2008 RX350 FWD with Michelin tires running 93 winter blend octane. It all adds up.
My experiences with traffic around the DC area, the I-495 loop and the surrounding areas, that it is more stop than go. Your city driving would result in lower MPG than city driving down here in FL.
95% in town and that gets me 16-17. This is the best I've ever gotten...
Thats what I get on the stupid winter blend fuel. I just love how the brainless environmentalist`s make us spend money! The friggin auto`s of today already burn as clean as they can. What the Hell more do they want??

My 2004 240G (Japan model, 2WD) can get 24.7mpg (80 hwy, 20 city) in my last tank. Currently running about 11km/l, that's nearly 26mpg (90 hwy, 10 city). All in hot summer, air conditioning on all the time.
For my 2005, per my FuelLog app, average of 20.91mpg with 91-93 octane and 50/50 city/highway driving. I've gotten as high as 28 mpg on an all highway trip being careful to stay around 65 mph. Other stats are:
Avg cost per mile: $.19
Avg miles per US$: 5.41
Avg fuel cost per gallon: $3.89
Avg fuel cost per fill up: $52.61
Worst fuel consumption: 19.52mpg
