Sounds to me like your throttle body is dirty and stuck up a little. Not sure if you are familiar with what that is, but you can Youtube "Cleaning Throttle Body" and find several videos on how to clean it cheaply. You will need an 8 or 10mm socket and ratchet with extension, some rags, throttle body cleaner.

Its fairly easy to get to. On the older RX300 models, this was a common problem. My initial guess is you have a throttle body issue. You could have a problem with the Idle Control Valve, or idle adjustment, but I would clean throttle body first.

Do a search on IACV, idle air controller valve. RX300 forum has plenty of discussion on this .. and you may among the early few of RX330.

Check all your fuses in your fuse box. If you did not do the battery change, someone could have caused a short in the system by mistake. Check your fuses first, then your IACV, and throttle body.

Maybe you spiked the ecm. Try disconnecting the neg. terminal for a few minutes and see if that does it.

It was running before until the battery was changed. Go trace what might have changed.

I wouldn't think it was a fuel pump issue, as the fuel pump usually dies completely, not a partial failure causing a low idle due to lack of fuel. I would check the FUSE for the fuel pump, but I wouldn't think the pump went out. If the pump was out or not working, it wouldn't even start.

Shikbas have you got a walkthrough (with pictures) on how to clean the af sensor and throttle body. Have seen other stuff for RX300, but not anything detailing the RX330/350.

ok guys, sorry no pictures,i just released the rubber housing connected directly to the throttle body, disconnect two hoses to the engine, took that piece of plastic out, sprayed the dody with generous ammount of cleaner fluid, brushed it well with an old toothbrush, respray the area very well, directed the sprayer towarg the sensor there, took the af sensor out and cleaned it,put every thing back, crank the car few times,it started ,smell the cleaner all over the place, running like charm, cut my finger,,always there is something to try and learn, very easy to do
