Default Automatic Door Lock

When i bought my 07 RX350 in January, I seem to remember hearing the doors automatically lock when I put it in gear or starting moving. I no longer hear that now. Is there a setting for this?

Thanks!

need a trip to the dealer, they will hook up the scan tool and turn that option on (or in your case confirm its on) unless you have a good relationship with your dealer expect to pay at least a half hour labour

No, you don't have to go to the dealer. Owner's manual, section 1-2, page 9. That's from the online manual at lexus.com If it's not on that page, just search your owner's manual.

As a side note, if all of you would just READ the owner's manual, you wouldn't have to ask this question, and someone wouldn't have to give you the wrong answer. But then again, I wouldn't have anything to do when I browse this website..lol.

Do keep in mind, the mechanic needs to be paid for his work. The dealer may chose to absorb the cost and then pass on to other customers. So if you look from fairness to all the cost should be paid by who ever needs the service. Mark up and rounding up is another issue.
