I think it is always happening in Japanese cars. Dash rattle, bad smell from AC vent when AC is not in used. Especially dash ratlle, is it something that for sure can be fixed and be gone forever?

What is your approach when going to the dealer to complain about the rattle? Do they keep the car for a whole day to do the investigation? Do they give you a car loaner for this kinda service?

Any input would be very appreciate it.

I don't believe with some many complains from you guys regarding rattle here and there...but no one willing to answer my question.

 

I brought my RX300 in for a rattle went out with a gentleman for a drive till it was heard. He then tried several ways to duplicate it. I was given a loaner picked up the RX next day never heard it again and neither did the second owner or the third owner.
