are the DRL bulbs easy to get to? what kind of bulbs are they? I would like to replace them with something less yellow

 

DRL bulbs are the same as high beam bulbs running at 1/2 power. They are halogen fillament bulb and that gives them the yellow tint. On top of that they dont get to full brightness and the conditons are like brown-out. Do a search on DRL and you will find more than you care for.

I was thinking replace the stock high beam to one of those superwhite bulbs. But I don't know what they will look like for DRL which runs at 1/2 the power.
