I did a little search but couldn't really find anything, or maybe I wasn't looking hard enough but anyways I was planing on getting some PUTCO bulbs to replace my DRL/Hi Beams and was just wondering if I would have any problems with these or see if anyone else has had any problems with this setup or know of any other good brand bulbs I should look into. On the box it says that the bulbs are 55w, since it is also the DRL will it run at half of that? and the full 55w when the high beams are on? just curious on everyone input and experience on this thanks

 

I don't think it's worth it, unless you use your high beams a lot. Yes, your DRLs will just be the 9006 bulb running at low power, then full power when in high beam mode.
