Anyone use it on your RX with navi? I found this pre-cut protection film on eBay for $10. Is it something that I can find in the Staples or Office Max??

Great! It is good because they accept PayPal. I have sent them an email about this and I am still waiting for their answer. Maybe you guys know the answer. How often that I need to replace the film? And I assume it is custom made for the RX with navi, right?

As long as you clean it regularly it should last. Haven't had to replace mine yet...
I am thinking of getting a protector film for my vehicle as well, but the NuShield only last for about 1 year!? Not a very good product if it only last such a short period of time. Can someone share their experience with using NuShield protector film, or other protector film? Thx.

I can't believe peeps really buying things like that.
I don't have kids and I bite my nails sometimes... I never see leaving finger prints is a problem because it would do the same to any kind of film-over again.
Sorry to say that but I rather spend the money on some detailing product to keep interior clean.
I bought the laptop screen protector on ebay, item #170036032993 for $.75 plus $4.75 shipping, use a thin sheet of paper and draw out the size, use it as a template. I was able to make 3 pieces to fit the LCD (plus left over to use on my ipod, phone ...).
You may have to wet the sheet to make it stick easier and use a squeegee ( I used Credit card), it looks and works fine on mine.

Reason: typo
I purchased the Nushield product and decided to throw it out because I couldn't make it fit. Could just be me????
I'm also having fitment issues with the Nushield film. No matter how I position the film there is a small gap that's left exposed on the top of the Nav screen. I've contacted their support dept in trying to resolve this issue and they have been responsive and helpful. Perhaps you should contact them and let them know your problem.
I just wanted to answer some of the questions posted on this thread.
1. If you find that the film is not fitting correctly, please let us know. We have several sizes and we will be happy to replace the film with a larger size.
2. NuShield offers a 100% money back guarantee. If you are having a problem and our support department can't help you resolve it, we will be happy to refund your money. We do not believe in unhappy customers.
3. NuShield films are predicted to last about one year based on normal use and abuse. If you are punching the screen with a pen or sharp finger nail the film will not last as long as if you are using the fleshy part of your finger. My screen lasted over two years before I decided to change it.
4. NuShield films provide glare protection and hide finger prints.
5. You can use other protectors, but they will cloud the screen and will fall off in shorter time.
I hope that I answered most concerns. We would like to have your feedback, both negative and positive, so that we can improve our product.
Thank you,
NuShield, Inc.
That is the main site where you will find it for any car. Just scroll down you will see it for Lexus.
Good luck!!
I purchased one from the about ebay link for my '04 RX330 a few weeks ago, it works quite well. Keep in mind though, the shield has a more shiny surface and hence more susceptible to reflection, especially when the moonroof is opened. Also if you are driving with a pair of polarized sunglasses, you could see a few streak of red on the screen. But then, depending on the viewing angle, polarized sunglasses do make any LCD displays looks weird sometimes. It does, however, do a tremendous job in reducing glares.
