Does anyone have any info about the Thundercloud Edition of the RX330? What does it include?

I have the 05 RX Thundercloud in Thundercloud Mist color. I like the grill over the standard as well as the gray with black interior. The black birdseye maple is sharp, the only comments I have heard is that it almost looks plastic. As for the rims, they're nice but I think they should have put the "graphite" rims on them instead, or even better still a chromed rim (especially if you have the "Flint" color). Mine is pretty much loaded with the AFS, NAV and ML, didn't get the DVD system, but then again it's just the wife and I and kids are grown up and out of the house. At the time I got mine the dealer (Lexus of Wayzata) had one in Thundercloud Mist and one in Flint but neither had the NAV. Just happened they had a Thundercloud Mist with NAV coming in, so waited the 2 weeks for it. I was over to Fargo, ND on Dec. 30 and couldn't believe it, passed an RX330 Thundercloud Mist. There aren't that many RX330's in North Dakota in the first place and then to pass an identical one in Fargo! As you may have figured out, I'm from Jamestown, ND and there are 3 RX's in town, 1 is a 2001 and there is a another 330 in white. In Fargo you pass a few more there as it is a larger city (largest in ND at about 90,000). Also is a premium pre-owned dealer there (F.F.Fisher) that sells some preown Lexus. I bought my first Lexus (98 GS300) there, but now go to Wazata, MN. I have to drive 300 miles to my Lexus dealer, so you guys that complain about a 40 or 50 mile drive are close by my standards. If any of you out there are ever heading thru ND give me shout thru the club. Always enjoy meeting other Lexus owners.

 

Doesnt it also have darker tailights anyone have pics of interior and the flint exterior color.

 

No they are the same colored tails. The flint mica exterior is identical to the regular RX330 other than the special badging, wheels and the special grille.

Interior looks like the regular Ash interior. Instead of the walnut trim, it is black wood just like what you see on the New GS.

Funny this was mentioned but I saw a Flint Mica TCM Edition at work today. I still don't understand why Lexus named this Thundercloud Edition and offered Flint Mica to the package. Defeats the purpose of having a "Thundercloud" Edition RX.

 

I dont like the wheels or the grille i liked the idea of the silver sport better. Especially with the sport tuned suspension.
