It's interesting seeing the results on the RX300 color poll, so I wanted to start one for the 330. I know there are not many out there yet, but it will build over time.

Let me know if I missed any.

Surprised that only 1 out of 46 (so far) is a Black Forest Pearl. Either people don't care much for it or it just reflects a lack of availability at this stage. Whatever, it looks to be the "rare" color choice if that's important to somebody.

I initially wanted the black forest pearl - but settled on the black onyx - the green just wasn't available in the southwest - and the ONE my dealer could find didn't have the Nav - gotta have the Nav/Rear View Cam!!

also in the long run I think the black will have better resell value

Black forest is supposed to be the rare color the RX330. I'm surprised the #1 choice is flint mica, which I have too, by the way. Silver, I guess, has been too popular for too long.

This is an enthusiast's poll. I would think for the general population, black, white, and silver still reign supreme. Maybe Longo can give us a monthly brekdown by color???

The dealer near me has tons of the Black Forest Pearl AWD 330s. They told me that nobody wants the color once they see the Flint Mica and the Neptune Blue Mica.

Down here the highest demand is Silver & Bamboo Pearl. We went with the color that doesn't show dirt (Savannah Metallic) because I use the RX for business travel & taking customers out...can't always get to a car wash.

the most popular colors are in order Silver, Flint, Savannah gold, white, and then Black. Black forest production numbers are the smallest.

Still only one Black Forest green, now out of 70 total which seems like a representative sampling. Wouldn't be surprised to see this color dropped for '05.

How about a similar poll for RX330 interior colors? My hunch from reading many of the postings here is that it's pretty evenly divided.

I am considering the black onyx exterior. Any comments on how to keep yours clean?

black is certainly a chore to keep clean - so far only 2500 miles and the shine is like the day I bought it - I'm no expert I just hope to keep it washed and waxed as often as needed. Maybe someone who handwashes their vehicle with a certain product could help more

I have a flint mica as well.. I dunno, it seems to be a very nice color, next time black oynx or silver..

To lessen the amount of washing just to get dust off your car, get one of those California Dusters. It works very well. I have a Savannah metallic, arguably the best colour to counteract dust; small amounts of dust is practically invisible on this colour. But I can tell the Cali duster works because of how much dust it removes from the black rear spoiler and the rear and hatch windows which are tinted.

Amazingly, you're not supposed to wash or clean the duster no matter how dirty it gets. Supposedly it works better the dirtier it gets. Fine by me I guess.

My RX is garaged. And so if I haven't washed it recently and it is raining outside, I quickly dust off the car with the Cali duster before it gets wet. The car remains much cleaner this way. If I don't dust it, the rain will mix with the dust on the car and it will appear much more dirty and blotchy when it dries.

Here in Canada, it's available at an automotive chain store called Canadian Tire. I'm sure it's available at similar stores wherever you are.
