Default 05 RX w/ Gen4 Nav plus ML question.

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum.
I should be picking up my top line 2005 RX330 with NAV, ML and RSES pretty soon. I just have one simple question.

I was reading through this forum(great forum with great people by the way) and learned that if you have Mark Levinson with Nav in RX, you can play DVD on your NAV screen. I understand that this works on Gen5 Nav. But how about Gen4 which I will be getting? Will it play DVD like Gen5?? What other format can it play?? mp3 and wma??

Thank you.

Hi Kango,

You can only play DVD on your NAV screen when you apply the parking brake. If you have RSES, you can play DVD-A songs as well. Hope this will help.
