Lexus has a scan tool which connects to DLC2 [round shaped] connector located under left side of instrument panel.

Warning light method is:
use a fused jumper to bridge DLC1 [rectangular DIAGNOSTIC port [in the engine bay] pins E1 to Tc OR on DLC2 connector Tc to E.
Turn ignition ON ... ABS or Trac light will begin to flash and give you the error code.
4sec pause- First Digit Error code # flash -- 1.5 sec pause --- Second Digit code # flashes
2.5 sec Puase
sequence of flashes for additional error codes or repeat of the single error.

If every thing is fine --> 2 sec pause -> blip every .25 sec [no elongated pauses].
