this light thng came on my car today and i dont know what it is, i bought the car a week ago and the manuals didnt come with the car..... if anyone can identify what the light thing on the right side of the cluster is please help

 

it looks like your brake light bulb is or are out check that first

 

hmmm just checked it out, and the brake lights are fine.....


the light that came on looks like a car with lines behind it

 

its a light for the tailights/brake lights..

Mine is on too..
but my bulbs are ok...

I dont know why it stays on..hmph..

 

Maybe third brake light? License plate lights?

 

hmmm okay well atleast im not the only one that has it on.... lol

about the third light and license plate light, they are both working great

 

cause i know on Acura and Honda that's what it is
make sure u check all the bulbs on the tail light that'sthe only thing i can think of

 

I have a 01' ES 300 and the same light has been on on my dash for a few months now. It goes on when the auto headlights go on and goes off when the headlights are off. I don't have any burnt out lights either.

 

well ill check it out cuz i have it on auto all tthe time, but ill try to see if it does it when its not on auto

 

i'm sure it's the light for the back plate.

 

that happen to me last month... i turn on the light on and all 4 was on. but then i had my lil brother step on the brakes the center left wasnt fully bright like the rest. that was my only problem.

 

Yeah, I heard that hte light also turns on as a WARNING that a light WILL be going out SOON...

so maybe one of our bulbs are about to go out soon or possibly not firmly connected..

The only changes I have made is I connected my BASS BOX...and it is CRAAZZY BASS....So i think the lights might be going out cuza the crazy bass..lol
