hey guys, i need your help. this is the light that is on.

brake fluid level is almost at the max.

brake pads are in great condition.

replaced all the bulbs in the tail lights.

what can it be?

 

did you check your 3rd brake light?

 

yes, i replaced all the bulbs in the 3rd brake light as well.

 

have someone break and double check

 

i have done that and all the lights are working

 

do you have aftermarket taillights?

 

no, they are stock

 

u think they are, but they not. i had this light when i bought mine. light was on, couldnt find a light out then noticed sometimes one on the 3rd brake light didnt always light up sometimes it did PLUS the side on the main lights was out and i didnt notice it at first. TRUST me u have a light out

 

did u check ur license plate lights?

 

i replaced all the bulbs in the tail lights and 3rd brake light with brand new ones.

then i removed all the socket from the tail lights just so i can see if the light are working and they all light up

 

yes, i checked that too

 

i have a friend with a GS coming by my house tonight. i gonna try to swapping both tail lights and 3rd brake light with his. hope that helps.... wish me luck

 

maybe got wrong bulbs? wrong wattage?

 

i thot i was crazy too but it was the high mount bulbs.
maybe you could reset your ecu? might help, maybe

 

my taillight dash light comes on a lot too n wat i realized is that sometimes the light will come on and sometimes it wont. depends on how u have the bulb turned. i now u sed there are regular lights but they have little metal wires on them that if turned the wrong way will set that light off. flip a couple of em around n see what happens. cuz with my car all the lights come on but one wont get brighter when i press the brake down. n it only happen wen the car is in drive. check that out and keep us posted.
