Default Pass side 3M headlight restoration

Came out really good for the most part. Going to do one more application because I can see some small scratches when the lights are on. The lens was completely oxidized before I started.

Please post after 3months and 6 months. I have used plastix (or some thing close to this name) but now the haze comes back with vengeance.

Yes, I have a similar experience. I used the plastix (Meligier) and the haze came back in a few month. Regardless, since I still had some of the bottle left. I used it for a quick cleanup on the Lexus lens this morning.

Your headlight looks pretty good now,and like Salim said be sure to give us an update a few months down the road.

I used Turtle Wax, you can see the before/after here:

The headlights still look great today after 4 months.

I almost bought the meguires restore but after reading the reviews I declined. Too many people mentioned the same thing you guys have said and had to reapply the polish to keep it clean. I used the 3m on y car about a year ago and it is just now starting to cloud back up ( very little haze). The only difference is my lights were in no where near as bad of condition the Lexus was. I will try to report back. I am sure I will read another thread on this subject and it will remind me to do so.

Looks great! Now all you need is some Dr. Colorchip to fix up the front end from all those road trips you go on.

Yeah, there are so many rock chips on the front. The hood really takes a beating on road trips, especially during the summer when there is road construction and random flying pebbles. I'll have to look into Dr.Colorchip. Thanks for the tip! I would love to fix up the rock chips, but I wonder how fast they will return. lol

Dr. Colorchip works wonders IMO. Definitely try it out.
