Default Window Auto Up & Down Problem

I have a 2002 RX-300 that I recently replaced the drivers door power door lock module on and that went fine. However, now the drivers door window's auto up and down feature does not work. All the other window's auto feature works fine, and the drivers door window will go up and down fine, but the auto up and down does not work. I found some posts talking about resetting the window module for auto up/down operation on later generations, and even tried these procedures. Still doesn't work. The other strange thing is that the drivers window switch light is NOT flashing. I thought that this light was supposed to flash if the window module needed to be reset. Is there a different procedure for resetting the window module in my 2002 RX300 or is there another problem? Any ideas?? Thanks.

Does the window roll as long as you keep the switch held?

If so do couple of full cycle up and down all the way and on the third attempt do a single flip.

Default I'll try that.

Yes, the window will go up and down just fine as long as I hold the switch; Only the auto doesn't work. So I'll try your procedure tonight! I'll let you know. thanks.

I tried your procedure but it made no difference. The auto up/down feature on my driver window ONLY does not work! Anybody have any ideas?

The procedure is supposed to recalibrate pinch protection circuit.

You can check if there is some thing wrong with the glass guide.

I had the same problem after a similar situation. Turned out the connector on the window/lock console was not fully seated. Take the cwitch console back off and make sure the connector locks into the receptacle.

Default I'll try that!

Thanks. I'll pull the switch panel and check the connections. If this doesn't work, I'll pull the door panel back off and check the window guide. Appreciate the tips!

Thanks to guys that posted on this thread. I could not get the auto window feature to work after taking everything apart to do an actuator. Pulled the panel and found that the connector was locked in, but not making a good connection (the door light flickered when I moved the panel around like a wire was broken). Pulled the connector apart and re-seated it, now it works perfect again. Thanks!
