Just bought a 2001 RX300 Silversport and had a tech come to my house to program a new remote key and asked him to go through personal settings. He could not get the Headlights to flash and beep sound when locking doors with a remote nor would the alarm (OEM) arm and activate (Lights Do flash and Beep sounds during Unlock).
Also does anyone know if the door locks will automatically lock / unlock when shifting into or out of Park and / or going a certain speed?

Search for Cbest settings. For early Lexus models, you had to go to the dealer to set those options. Over time these are now more in owners control. Your Owners manual would list what you control.

This is a CBEST setting (locking). Personally, I hate it when cars automatically lock the doors when going into gear. There is no option for automatically unlocking the doors when going out of gear.
