Default OBD Code P0446 question

I know what the code is but I have never heard of this. Can anyone help me with where and what the "Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit" is?

Thanks for you time, guys.....

Welcome to the Club.

It's rarely electrical and usually is gas cap issue, charcoal canister issue, or one of the lines going over the fuel tank having a problem (cut).

There is a circuit right here related to the evap connector, white arrow

Also check hoses pointed out in blue for any issues

Did you or anyone else recently check your air filter? A very common cause of this code is the evap hose behind the air box disconnecting from the metal tube below it when someone raises the top of the air box to check the filter. This hose is behind the air box directly below the brake fluid container and is difficult to see.

OK....at least now I have something to go on. I will check both responses and see if I can determine what's going on. There has also been a weird noise coming from under the passenger side dash area. I thought for a minute my problem might be there since the heater core and thermostat is in that area.

I'll get back with you all as soon as I come to some kind of conclusion.
Thanks a lot....

May not be related but I had a weird noise coming from my passenger side dash area when we got our car. I thought it was some trash in the blower motor or something. Turned out to be the Air Supply Mixture servo was hung up constantly moving back and forth. Took apart the servo, made some adjustments, and put it back in and everything is fine now.

Hmmmm....air supply mixture servo? Is that located under the dash close to the interior air filter? Interesting!
