TunedRX300 did a good thread on that about tightening it up, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=272697.

I ended up doing this a bit during the afternoon before going to the track.

BTW, didn't break the time record at the track tonight, but did set a pretty good km/h record of 125.80 (78.17 mph) breaking my 125.01 km/h record. I did come within under .1 of the time record on a run against a super bee, the torque converter does pull but problem appears midrange down the track where I am losing some time in second gear, but I have a feeling it is the air intake ramming into much air at that point as I got some CELs (P0171) twice at that same spot just after the 60 foot mark, but I plan to do a redesign at the end of February when I get my air filter. The speed record is more indicative of one's actual horsepower. However, when you are at altitude, it's kind of hard to tell via this way.

Not wishing to feed the self righteous on here....but Sunday today and nipped off to the local electrical dealers to buy my wife a new vacuum cleaner for her birthday....yep all heart I am hey she wanted it!
On the way back on our local dual carriageway....nice and deserted...thought I wonder when the Vmax limiter cuts in on my RX....so off I went, still going strong at an indicated 120....thats a true 115 by my satnav....my wife was sittting there oblivious to the trial and I had the sunroof open too!

Only other cars I have had where my own personal Vmax limiter never came into play were the Jags I have owned.....I like these silent strong vehicles....the wife never knows what speed you going!

Not going to try that again until I get the 18" wheels on with some WR+ rubber wrapped around them..............

Best regards David

Oh you owned Jags, my family used to have two XJ6s, an 84 and and 87, due to their weight you never really could tell how fast they were going, quite smooth in that respect.

I have gotten my RX300 but 120.9 mph via satellite on a run down a hill.

Yes indeed, we had some great hols in France with my Jags....I remember once loosing a french 3 series Beemer with a couple of spotty kids in it who were tailgating us......think they couldnt quite believe it when the car in front left them for dead on the autoroute...especially as I was towing my camping trailer and two bikes on the rack! I think that little stint ended up at about 130+........but of course I did have normal car tyres on the trailer, full suspension too.....hee hee......now of course I am much more sensible

Best regards David
