RX300 Transmission problems
Hello,
My RX300 transmission failed just under 100K miles. $5K to repair. Just a month later transmission is not shifting into higher gears. taking to shop again. A friend told me the exact same thing happened to her RX300. The transmission failed at just under 100k miles.
Anyone else experiencing transmission failures witht he RX300 (Camery drive tran)?

If you do a search, you will hit various threads on RX300 trans failure. Fellow member thomas1 is keeping a count.
Please post what exactly was found wrong with the transmission. (last time and this time).
Since the failing part has not been identified, we are all at a loss .. some feel it is the pump, some feel that the fluid should be replaced more frequently.
