RE: Hazy headlights..
There's this stuff called on ebay. I was going to give it a try for another car I have with plastic covers. It's only $6 with no shipping charges so if it doesn't work, you won't feel too bad .

Only drawback is that it only lasts for about a month on a daily driver. There is a 2-step product that I just bought, but haven't tried it yet. Very expensive ($60).

Salimshah, I just bought and used the Meguiar's PlastX (New and Improved the bottle said) and it worked great, my lenses are clear and bright, wow. And, it only took a few minutes, if that, to follow the instructions for the application and wipe off. I also used it on the smaller lens below the main headlights and the rear lights. Price was under $10.00 USD I believe.

Remember to follow up with a coating of wax or uv-pretectorant.

I have tried quite a few products, as well as the toothpaste. Nothing seems very effective so I thought the haze is partially on the inside surface.
Now I want to polish it again after seeing the new post......

3M Headlight Restoration Kit - they are $13 - $15 depending on the website.
I have purchased and used this kit twice. Works great. Will probably take 1-2 hours total time if you do a really good job. It literally removes the corroded plastic with a course disc that you attach to a drill. Then you go up in grit until you it's smooth again, then you finish with a compound and a buffing pad. They only other thing you need beside a drill is a spray bottle of water and some masking tape to protect your paint.
I was VERY happy with the results. One of my friends bought the same kit and was very happy with his results too.
Also, you can probably get two uses out of one kit to be honest.
