Default Borla + PPE UEL Header Rasp

Anyone else running the setup in the title? I just had the PPE UEL header put on and now the exhaust is a little too loud now. Just curious if anyone made any mods to tone down the volume some and got rid of some of the raspy-ness.

If you don't have high flow cats installed, that's where I would start

Awesome, Thanks.

Any recommendation on high flow cats for Borla? I saw some folks run other setups with GESI cats, some ran Magnaflows. I dont want to spend $600 on GESI cats if I can avoid it.

High flow cats will certainly help take the edge off. Gesi cats are designed to handle more power (SC applications), Magnaflow are fine for stock/FBO cars.

Ouch, I hate to hear that. Were you FBO? Also, were you running ceramic or metallic spun magnaflows?
Nevermind I see you were running PPE EL headers with dual mode exhaust and the metallic version Magnaflow 99675 2.25".

I was looking to get I the 59956 model - they have metal substrate and they are 200 cpsi.

Thanks RRR.

I dont plan on SC'ing anytime soon. Wish I could drop 600+ on the GESI cats, but its a little more than I want to spend right now.

...on the other hand, buy once cry once. flowrider seems happy with his GESI's
