After researching and trying out various practical cars for the last 6 months, like Acura TL SH-AWD, G37xS, CR-V, RDX etc., I finally decided to go back to Lexus brand and add a RX400h with ultra premium package. This will be the car for the wife and for more space needed for our growing family needs as the Corolla XRS is too small and only for my daily commute to work.
While the RCF is about to go into hibernation at the of this month, this has Nokian Hakka R tires so it will be incredible in the winter. It has 3 electric motors with a 3.3 liter V6 for a combined power of 270 HP. It has incredible gas mileage.
Nice pick up! I've wanted an older V8 GX470 for hauling stuff and driving in bad weather for awhile but haven't pulled the trigger. I like the idea of keeping it in the Lexus family!

Thanks. It was a very complex multi dimensional criteria I had to keep at the forefront while shopping around. My wife had very specific preferences and I wanted it to be very high quality and robust as well. I wanted to try a new brand as well. I preferred to have something that was also decently sporty like the TL or the G37. At the end of the day, nothing else checked all boxes like the RX. I luckily found a mint condition RX400h so I immediately jump the gun on it. I am very happy with my choice so far as it is a great SUV.
