Replacement brake lines
I’ve decided that I’m going remove my calipers and have them professionally painted. I’ve tackled much larger projects in the past but this will be my first foray into actually removing calipers. I’ve ordered a full set of caliper hardware for all 4 corners, and I’d also like to replace the brake lines. The Toms lines seem awful pricey for a daily driver that will never see the track.
Has anyone used other lines besides Toms? Recommendations welcome.
Thanks

Thanks Lou. Again I’m still researching the best process here... but I was under the impression that the existing lines should be replaced with new factory ones at a minimum. I was planning on clamping the existing lines (to retain the fluid) and cutting them while leaving the banjo bolt attached to the caliper during the painting process for a perfect mask of the the connection area. Is there a better way?
