Default Plugging brake lines and calipers for paint

What did you guys use to stop the fluid from leaking all over creation while you painted your calipers?

Do you want to block the calliper or the brake line, there are brake line special pliers (or vice grips) and for the calliper just use the same size bolt with a copper washer.

I chose to color calipers concurrently with a brake fluid flush+bleeding...no need to pinch

I cut the finger off a latex glove and elastic band it over the brake line.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll probably uses some wood clamps to squeeze the lines so they're not just dripping out, and dump the calipers empty for a good flush as suggested.

I used some metal clamps to crush the lines to stop any fluid from leaking out. Kept it like that for maybe a month while waiting for my calipers to come back from powder coating.

I did however install new oem lines once my calipers came in, in case I caused any damage to the lines while they were clamped down for a month.
