Not with any of the US bound F cars AFAIK. Some of the GS models did come standard with card keys, and some markets (I believe Canada is different) did come with card keys as standard.

Anyone do this for a 2020 yet?

I checked the above part number of 89904-24020 and it appears it's not compatible with a 2020.

Looks like 89904-24021 is what 2020 people should be looking at. But I wanted to double check before dropping $250 plus the blank key.
https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...)&location=pd:,

Also is the dealer cutting the blank key for you there or how is that working? I know with MB, you need to prove ownership of your car, and then the dealer ordered the keys and they are cut in Germany then shipped to the dealer and handed to you. Also did the little battery cover on the key have the F logo or did that need to be ordered separately?

Thanks,
-Nigel

Does anyone know if Lexus, or otherwise, will sell just this part - I checked catalog and I can't find:

I ordered the Hybrid version of the key card because the F one was not available, the Hybrid was solely for aesthetic as the background of the "L" is blue (indicating Hybrid on model cars). I just wanted the F but got the Hybrid as a consolidation prize.

That would be cool, cause I also ended up using a non-F wallet key since I got one used for so cheap. $80 for the key, $120 for a guy to program it and cut the non oem blank...everything works fine with my 16 RCF...thankfully.

I THINK I found it:
https://parts.prestigelexus.com/p/Le...975B53010.html

According to the description: Q000001 0020 0; G000001 0; URL10; KOREA SPEC&KEY PLATE-2-ELECTRICAL KEY +1 CARD W/F SYMBOL; KEY PLATE-2-ELECTRICAL KEY +1 CARD W/F SYMBOL;

I would think now any dealer could confirm but that looks like it would be it?

Believe same stuff just different layout on the page:

The first bit of information from luxuxboutique was $60 (40 being shipping) to get the little plastic F logo battery cover. We are trying to find the part number for just the battery cover so he doesn't spend a crazy amount of shipping to get a plastic piece from Japan.

Found the F cover cheaper from Bell Lexus (as expected): https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsda...975B53010.html
Part number is: 8975B53010
Shipping is about as expected, (aka not $40)

Dealership in Dallas area price matched the MyLparts price/Bell Lexus ($245) and I received the key card. Took RCF in for routine maintenance and same dealer couldn’t make key pair with my VIN. In the end there are multiple part numbers depending on your VIN (even though I gave the dealer my VIN). Another key-card got shipped in and programmed just fine ($45). Love it.

Then, the same thing happened on my new LS500. VIN/search/price match/receive/won’t pair/new key/done. I was ready....

I guess at least I’m working around the gawdawful $300++ retail robbery by first getting something/anything price-matched, and then getting it made right later. It’s such a game!, but a fun one if you enjoy service department run-around like I do.

Next up is my wife’s new GX. Waiting in the stands to watch the same dang thing happen again.

Nigel821 - Thank you for your continued help, not only did you find it, but you continued to look further into it and I (I'm sure all of us) appreciate it sir!

Lost180 - Thanks for looking into your resource, knowing Bell gave great prices I appreciate you looking into that as well.

I ordered the piece and will update when it comes in.

Part came in, 2 day shipping but took 11 days since order to arrive to my house for something that was marked in-stock? haha, no biggie however the item came slightly damaged, bent corner (piece of made of thin aluminum) and I tried to flatten it out but here it is:

I sent Bell Lexus an email asking if there was something that can be done otherwise I'm just going to suck it up and keep it. I like it though, I know it's supposed to be on the other side but kinda wanted both on same side. I'm going to take the L off and flip it, just got to try and do it carefully. Thanks again guys for your help and research!
