Default Booboo

Made a grave mistake… installed my battery with the wrong polarity now everything is going nuts… does anyone know how to fix this…

Did you try disconnecting for 30 minutes or so?

Wiring it backwards is about the worse thing you could do.

Hopefully all the electronics survive but be ready to get your wallet out.

You probably blew our your Bus Bar, sometimes called a fusible link. It is in place to protect the various systems from exactly what you did. If you're lucky, all you have to do is replace it, and probably a handful of other fuses. If you're unlucky, like brendanf said, prepare to get your wallet out.

I had to do something similar to this on my IS-F, it was jumped backwards by the tow truck

I did this with our Solara by accident.

Luckily nothing fried other than the Alternator.

^^^^No one does it on purpose I did it back in the 70s on my then wife's '73 Chevelle. Had to replace the fusible link which was a woven cable. Haven't done it since
