Exclamation Removing a tight nut on a battery terminal?

My battery terminal end is really loose. Tightening the nut that makes it tight does not work.

I went ahead and bought a new terminal end, but the nut to remove the old terminal is extremely tight..

Anyone can know how to remove with extremely tight nut on battery terminal?

Or i have to buy new battery cable with terminal?

Let me know. i really hate to do that.

Well, you said you would really hate to buy new cables... if you absolutely refuse to, then yeah, I agree with topdog, go ahead and cut it off, just make sure there's enough slack, there usually is, plan on getting new cables later though. I had to slice the terminals off my mother in law's 2000 Durango and the new fitment barely reached the battery posts, but at least the terminals were new.
