My 2 cents..
This is my first Lexus, I test drove both the 200 and 350, and perhaps its just my driving style, but I noticed no big differences at all with performance. Therefore, I just didn't want to drop the extra for the 350 vs the 200 when I could put the savings into other upgrades that I am interested in. I tend to buy cars probably 75% for looks and 25% performance, so maybe that's why I don't mind also.
I really love my 200t and until I could afford the full RCF or better where performance difference is huge, I doubt I'll ever be bothered by my choice for the 200t vs the 350.
To each their own!

Well I chose the RC350 F sport, I also tend to buy cars more for looks rather than performance although I did like the V8 but wasn't prepared to fork out
the extra $$$ for it..my previous car was a 2IS 350 F sport which was why I chose the V6 RC,.
I've never driven the RC 200T so I can't comment about the performance, what I do know is that every time I give my RC350 a boot full it puts a smile on my face...
Like you guys said ..each to there own...
Enjoy your ride ...I sure do.....

Bought mine new 2016 model last summer. Probably could have gotten a better deal leased but I'm not a fan of leasing.
I got the second package that my dealer offered for the 200t and I think I was at like 46k ttl

first of, thank you 350 owners for not bashing us 200t drivers. ive read a few threads of ppl talking crap about the 2.0T being for cheap/broke folks. i mean, $40k-45k is not cheap but ok.
anyways, my car was priced at $40k. according to my contract, it was priced down to $35k then they added my $10k negative from my 2008 535i but $45k is better than $50k!
unfortunately, i only have the base model but thats okay cuz i just had to have the RC. ive feel inlove with it the first time i ever saw one in Vegas back in 2014 and never even thought i would ever get one. i didnt have much room to work with , having taken such a big hit on my trade in.
i hate the turbo lag from zero but when it finally kicks, its not bad at all. on the fwy or open road, i just manually downshift 2-3 gears before i give it a push, and thats good enough for me.
