Does anyone have this Apexi Quad exhaust for their 2017+ IS300/350? I did a search and couldn't find much on it. Just wondering how it sounds in person, drone? I heard it on a 2021 IS350, would it sound similar to that? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

i have it on my 2017 350, and absolutely love it! drone is minimal at 2-3k rpm but overall nothing that you can’t bear. it sounds a bit different on the 2018-2022 engines because they have the updated 2GR-FKS engines in it instead of the 2GR-FSE like i have.

 

There are some videos you can search on YouTube for sound comparisons, but yes the sound difference is very minimal as I've heard just the axle back itself and it sounds nice and deep. If you get the full cat back, you will either love it or hate it depending how loud you want it to be. It does soften up when the car is really warmed up, I think either way you will love it. Also a lot of people like the look of it while you drive by or park. I always have people coming up to me asking about the exhaust system on the car (18 IS300).

There is a drone regardless, I believe the Invidia exhaust (full cat back) has little to no drone but I can't confirm since I haven't seen it on an IS in person yet.
