Question Deep no-drone exhaust options for a 350?

I like the sound of the Remark axle back but after hearing about highway drone it's a no-go for me. I'm not a drone guy at all, but I'd really like a louder, deeper exhaust note. Honestly thinking about just swapping the muffler itself for a 40 Series Flowmaster or similar.

Anybody have any opinions? Lots of sound clips on YouTube don't address drone so I'm looking for first-hand accounts lol

Any muffler delete will give you drone. I currently have the F sport axle paired with an Apexi midpipe and least amount of drone. I also heard Tanabe axle has no drone also.

I have also read good things on the forum about the Tanabe axle back in regards to drone. I have the F Sport axle back with stock mid pipe and there is slightly more drone than the factory system but it's manageable (and I hate drone... see my post #12 on the ISF thread -> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-opinions.html). I'm not sure there is a completely drone-less solution besides the factory system.

@JNP1227 I have been interested in the Apexi midpipe to add to my F Sport axle back and I love to hear it in person. I may be PMing you about that.

Have you looked into the Invidia Q300 by any chance?
I've had it on for almost 1k miles now, liking it more and more.
As far as drone, I feel like there's barely any. If you're holding at like 2700-3000 rpm at a high speed, I hear it going a little, but any other cruising speed I almost don't hear it.

It's a very nice tone when I want it, but it's the sort of experience I'd want with a Lexus. No fart cans lol

Course mine is an axleback 250, but I'd think yours would sound better if anything.

I also have the fsport intake filter and tube.

Im using the N1-X Evolution Extreme Axleback on stock midpipe and its a very well constructed axleback. It has a nice tone during WOT and mid rpms and overall sound is nice. Droning is very minimum on the highway when i cruise about 70-80mph on eco mode. I have noticed if you're on eco mode and you're coming from a stop it gets kinda loud but as u get pass the 3k RPMS it goes back to being normal. I plan on pairing it with apexi midpipe + headers if i decide to SC it.

Running Apexi midpipe with remark axleback, but I put on 2 vibrant ultraquiet resonators on the axleback, no drone still a good sound in my opinion, quiet under 3k rpm get's loud under WOT.

A couple of years ago, I had a shop just do a muffler delete and the mid pipes, making it a dual exhaust straight pipe with the stock exhaust. I didn't want to spend all the money, and I think it sounds pretty good.

Hey would you be interested in meeting up in NY? I was looking into adding a Apexi midpipe but i'm not sure if it is a good idea on my daily.

Default Fsport performance

Hi,
can I ask if you are happy with the sound of fsport exhaust?
I was thinking of installing one on my rc350 awd fsport to increase the sound but I was not sure if it worth the price tag. Thank you!
