Anyone used Thornton Stage 3 Performance Chip?
Hi Folks,
I just got my new 2022 IS 350 F-Sport and would love to increase my performance without loosing warranty. Has anyone used this mod and does it really increase the HP by 60? Are there any other options? Any advice is appreciated in advance.

I never even heard of this company lol
The product has 1 review and IMO i wouldn't buy some $60 tune. RR Racing, M Force, and OV Tuning all sell reputable tunes. Worth looking into if you want proven and/or reliable tunes.
Stay away from any company that calls a tune a "chip". You will gain no more than 10-20hp at a very specific rpm (i.e. not peak) on an NA car with a tune. Its tough to extract peak power but doable depending on how much the tune is limited from the factory. Stay with the reputable, proven brands as mentioned above and you should be paying $500-$1000 for those.

Will I be able to save my default flash before I flash the tune (say RR) and flash it back to factory by myself? I used to do it on my supercharged Scion FRS with EcuTek license and dongle. What else would I need apart from the tune, license dongle etc?

I never flashed it back to stock even going to get service done at the dealer.

THORTON is a scam!
From experience the chip they offer does nothing! Purchased without reading any real reviews and got screwed. Plugged this in and no added gas mileage or power on my 2021 RX450H F Sport after 1k miles. My infotainment screen started to go into reboots every once in awhile when this was installed too.30 day return period came and went.STAY FAR AWAY!
