Anyone have the RR Racing Tune?
I read as it's apart of the tune and is one of the biggest parts of the power curve upgrade. From the website.
Direct Injection / Port Injection fuel mapping
Ignition control (300/350 has base ignition maps, cam timing dependent ignition maps, knock correction maps)
Variable cam maps
Torque to throttle mapping (allows us to enhance throttle response)
Rev limit increase to 7200 RPM (helps the power curve)
Raises the shift points to higher rev limits (higher shift rev points require use of paddle shifters for maximum performance)
Raises the speed limit
Our on road impressions are that the 300/350 pulls much more smoothly and linearly, with excellent midrange and top-end improvement. One of the most effective changes to the 300/350 is increasing the rev limit to 7200rpm. As you can see from the dyno results below, the 2GR-FSE v6 continues to pull all the way to the revised 7200 rpm rev limit (AWD only). This results in significantly more "area under the curve" and better acceleration times (for AWD).

I haven't taken mine to the new rev limit and don't drive my car that hard. I can tell the difference though with the tune and ark grip exhaust and RR intake and Lexus high flow filter. If you really think you are going to be bouncing yours at the rev limit a lot then it could be a concern. I honestly don't see me personally doing that. But that is just me sir.

Did you have separate tunes for intake with exhaust and one for intake only? thanks for answering my questions! cant wait to get my parts!

Also how is your MPG? Improved?
Same tune for it all. The Lexus ECU is what changes in its own learning and adjusting timing to your fuel maps.
As far as MPG I haven't been able to really compare and she is about to go back in storage due to leaving for work again.

Got the tune loaded and the RR Carbon intake - it feels pretty good but have only driven a few miles so far.
I did notice that the car only shifts at 6500RPM and not 7200RPM in S+ / Manual mode...... Simon said to try it in higher gears but I don't have that much road to do it on just yet

That's actually not bad. I don't ever plan on installing a exhaust, so I probably wouldn't benefit very much from the tune.
Similar experience for me with a 2007 Audi S4 with highway pulls. 40 and 50 mph we were always neck and neck until the speed limiter kicked in.
