I have a 2016 is300 f sport. I've recently been looking into getting the rr racing tune but I am curious how well of a tune it is? I'm hoping somebody has had this done or knows someone who has had this done and knows more about it. Im also looking into different exhaust systems. I'm leaning for towards a full invidia set up but again, also looking for different options. What are some good websites to look at for performance parts and things like that.

Performance (engine) parts are slim pickings. For mainstream products your basically looking at Intake, Headers, Exhaust (Mid pipes and axel-backs). Then RRRacing has an ECU tune and SuperCharger Packages.

i have a 2016 is300 base model and have the ecu tune from RR racing. It is a great tune, the throttle response is a lot better than stock and acceleration is "smoother". Simon and Rafi have great customer service as well.

Josh from Meraki is also excellent with customer service and pricing, you can't go wrong with either.

the only side effect it has right now is wanting more power (supercharger syndrome).

just fyi, i also have the ppe headers and full ark exhaust. fair warning, this is a loud setup and has lots of drone. i modified mine to tone down the drone and i''m completely happy with it.

I hate drone and loud setups. Can I just get ecu tune, headers and an axel back which is not so loud? I like to hear a bit more aggressive sound than stock exhaust but don't want it loud.

there will be additional noise involved whenever you change ANY part of your factory exhaust.. You can get an ecu tune without touching any of your exhaust and keep the same quiet sound.

I ordered the ECU and intake pipe from RR racing. I want an exhaust but since I dont want it too loud I will just get an axle back for now. Can always add a mid pipe later.
