Question Which performance parts to buy?

hello, viewers. I am new to this site and I needed some help on deciding what brand of headers, intake, and exhaust I should buy? I have a 2004 IS300 that is manual. I am looking for bang for the buck or reasonable...Something that will make a difference.

- for the exhaust i want a nice deep sound, but not too loud (dont need the extra attention).

-Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks

Rod millen or L-tuned if you can find one.

nothing na will be a bang for the buck. the only way you can make a bang-for-the-buck na exhaust systemis if you make it yourself.

if i was you go for the SRT intake its the best one out there hands down its 445 it comes with a chip to reprogram your MAF sensor for better response
the exhuast i have is deep not ricy its the Apexi N1 spec catback i got it for 85 dollars on ebay and since it is stainless steel thats a steal (i got videos of my exhaust note if you want it)
for headers it might not be cheap but the Mazzuri super is the best bang you will get headers wise last time i looked for the header ypipe kit it was about 600 dollars on the site you could pick up a used kit on the forums or something for a little less money.

Happy modding man let me know how it goes

bang for the buck:
1.) exhaust. i prefer the greddy series, but landed a killer deal on the cat back apex n1. i also got a megan racing downpipe for free with the deal
2.) srt intake with piggy back
3.) i would agree the mazzuri headers are nice. its just the price point.

the first two, with a clean maf sensor and that should bring the engines response upto where i expected it to be. very fun with trac off.

I like the Greddy SP2 or EVO2 L-tuned or Rod millen. The Apexi N1 is way to loud for my liking.

+1 on the SRT.
As for Exhaust, go for a Greddy EVO or HKS Dragger (I believe it is)
and for Headers, Mazzuri would be your best bet.

that should get you to around 220-230 at the MOST.
If you want more go Na-T.

i'd say instead of the srt (your paying for the chip) get an injen or a lexpro and run an emanage ultimate. you'll unlock way more power (and safer because your tuner can actually write your maps). it'll be more pricey but you'll have more power and the ability to re tweak your setup for any mods you get down the road and optimize them (i.e. cams, bigger throttle body etc). as opposed to some little box that doing who knows what, no two engines are the same hense i never trust any mass produced "chips" or reflashes. so before people bring the ecu's re learning habit, if your tuner can tune it won't happen, fi guys have to deal with it because they're rewriting entire maps as opposed to tweaking them as the case with an na engine.

na setup that i'm going with...
-mazzuri headers/y pipe
-hks dragger II cat back exhaust
-hks exhaust cam gear
-either injen or srt (with out the chip) or lexpro intake
-greddy emanage ultimate
-possibly 80mm throttle body conversion

forget the SRT, forget all of it:

Apex-i WS2- clean sound and stock looking
Blitz drop in
Cam gear and tuning.

cheap, reliable and real hp gains

put all the piggy backs you want, can't get real hp without cam tuning

they also have the blitz drop in for like 60
hopupracing.com has the Apexi WS2 for cheap too.
