The original gaskets should still be good. You need to get a 90 degree spacer on the 2nd O2 sensor bank and you should be fine.

Yes that what my mechanic trying to fix. Just left a bad taste from the whole experience with TTI. Thinking of forgoing the whole catless DP and get a catted one instead. Hows your experience with PPE catted DP and the support from them?

I've never had an issue with TTI, so that's a first. PPE is awesome! They make a very good product and are highly recommended in the Lexus community.

I have a PPE de-catted downpipe and they were more than helpful in helping me and even sent me some spacers to try. In the end, I figured it out on my own and used spacers I purchased.

Both actually. The upper section of the turbo (connects to charge-pipe) is removeable to allow access to the turbo. Once you remove that section you will be able to remove the heat sheild from the top and then have access to the downpipe bolts.

Sad...my CEL came back. But I'm thinking it's because I put 89 octane instead of 91? I've always done 91, even though I can take 87. I'm hoping that's the case as the CEL came on a minute after I pumped gas. Now I'm just trying to burn through this half tank and refuel with 91.

You should follow the manufacture spec u suppose to up not downgrade, our car has high compression with turbo and it tune for 91 octain and up... you have Cel not because you have downpipe, it could be the gas your using and it making your engine to knock or pre ignition which is really bad...

Manufacturer spec is definitely 91. Idk where you’re getting 87 from.

Ah **** maybe I misunderstood my salesman, I have an RC300 and he said 87 is Ok, car doesn't have any warning stickers saying use premium fuel only like my IS did.
