Hey Rafi , any update on the handheld for the 2017 models? Thanks bud.

 

Has anyone done the 2017 is300 tune to get more HP? Is it safe for the engine? Will the is300 have same fuel consumption as is350 after tune which is 26 mpg highway and 19 mpg for city?

 

The IS300 AWD has the same engine as the IS350 AWD, so it is certainly safe for the engine.

Has anyone done this? I just had my tune 3 days ago and i've had CEL issues since then. After speaking with Simon from RR Racing apparently noone has had an is300 tune yet? and the file they sent me needs some extra manipulation to remove some cel codes. Kinda disturbing if i'm the guinea pig. Makes me think this tune wasn't tested for the is300 and what else could be missing from it. I bought their 3,200 package for this power upgrade..that's not chump change!

i have the tune for my 2017 is300. no problems since tune ( Feb 2018) and i have been to the track.

you sure the CEL wasnt related to the headers you got in the power package?
possible tune will remove the cel or you will need that oxygen sensor (conditioner)/oxygen spacer

 

 

Just to be clear, there is one company, and only one company, that has successfully remapped the IS300 ECU to IS350 specifcations... and we have the dyno results to prove it!

I too would love to see a new version of the OBD hand-held device to come to the IS300/350 for 2017+! I'm a new owner of a IS300 2018 !

Did you read the thread? Of course it will, if you're looking for increased power through tune it's pretty much the only choice for us.
