Tach fix is too easy. 12V through a 1k ohm resistor connected to the tach wire. And of course changing the output to 6 cylinder instead of 4.

ummm... not sure if it matters to you or not but i think the throttle body is backwards. not knocking whatsoever. just an observation. btw. congratulations. you've accomplished quite a feat of creativity. more pics as it progresses please. and what are you talking about changing from 4 cylinder to 6 cylinder?

The throttle body is upside down because there was literally no other position to mount it. If it were cable operated then it would really have sucked! The DBW seems to be dead on but i can't REALLY judge that yet being i still haven't driven it .

Thanks, I'm beyond stoked to go spank this car, but i realize i need to take my time and get it right. STILL WAITING on exhaust.

For the tach, LSX engines have a 4 cylinder tach output from the factory. In hptuners was simple as changing a cell number.

Looking a little more tidy. Needs a serious power washing

Used a 99 Bonneville pcm box with the mounting legs cut off, mounted to a bent sheet of metal. It's still humping the alternator but better than before.

Only had to move ONE pin in the obd port, the green/ black striped wire. Ls engine talks over one serial wire.

nice exhaust setup, thats actually legit. whats the diameter though. keeping in mind thats only a 4.8 liter and only about 250ish horsepower. doesn't require too much pipe diameter. but you already have the pipe so onward.

Thanks my exhaust guy came through. It's no fancy mandrel bent system but the bends look fine to me. Full 2.5 inch manifold to muffler. I chose 2.5 to try and "futureproof" for whatever larger engine ends up going in later. I believe the best bang for buck later will be an entire engine swap over a cam or engine work. But hey, maybe I'll change my mind.

Throttle harness through firewall protected by a 1/4 in hose and a grommet.

The mufflers in my previous post were too long. Also I'm broke now. So I'll ride the stock mufflers out till they get loud. Meh

Almost there!
