If you do any of Stage 1 or 2 make you lose warranty and is it detectable by Lexus?
Thats one of the reasons why we asked about the option of restocking the car and it is possible and the tool is now more affordable so you can do it before taking the car to the service....but in any case dealer wont look into the ROM unless there is a major issue with the car

Yup, with the tools you'll be able to switch to stock before taking in the car for any mechanical issues.
I must have missed but asking, what includes with each tune?
Noob hear and soaking all this information in.
What TTI and OV are offering is a reflash of the ECU. This reflash (tune) adjusts parameters such as throttle, boost, Air/Fuel ratio, timing, VVTI engagement etc. to create more power out of the engine. TTI offers a Stage 1 tune which is a safe setup for a stock motor and a Stage 2 which they recommend using for bolt on's such as a downpipe or turboback exhaust and intake.
You will get the tools needed to read and write the tune into the ECU using a windows laptop. You send them your stock tune file and they make the adjustments to make it either a stage 1 or 2, then you load it into your ECU and enjoy.

thank you, very helpful.
So if I do get Stage 1 is there no need for Toms piggyback box? Looks like next move is to barrow my laptop back from my niece for a week and get Stage 1 for stock motor. Exciting times

Nope, i will not advise running a piggyback together with a re flash. The re flash will give you better gains

Got it today from Japan. Got it in 5 days. Installed it earlier and there is a very noticeable gains throughout the entire power band. I also have an injen spt intake, invidia q300 AB, and invidia midpipe. Before installing the box it would peak and hold at 17psi, after the install. I was peaking at 21-22psi and holding at 20psi. For the price I paid, it was well worth the wait and cost. I highly recommend it. Sheddy put me onto it. Thanks bro. If you want a "stealth" tune, this is it.

Nuke, did the down pipe throw a check engine light on the stock ECU?

nope but its fair to say that the DP am using is a smart design, the sensor sits in a small compartment that is lightly perforated which only passes little gases, this in turn makes it a permanent solution to never get a CEL light though I have to say on warm up the car is abit loud but after that its all good, don't forget i have invidia mid pipe and Q300 cat
