Click "Check for Updates" and follow the on screen instructions. The Tune Wizard is not available for the 2.0L turbo yet.
Initially, it did not work either (i.e. there were no updates), so i emailed Dinesh again and he asked me to try again. This time it loaded the maps.
He remoted logged into my laptop this morning and confirmed my laptop was fine, my connection was fine. He determined it was a server issue and checked to find out a firmware update caused my connection issues.
I was able to do the update and it went fine, but I didn't do tune wizard since I had to leave. I hope it can be resolved tomorrow. I sent him the same screenshots, so hopefully it'll be resolved soon.
Hi @tnilc , is it better than OV's tune in terms of throttle response?
Not sure that matters since that OVTune is basically unsupported by the tuner
The throttle response is much better than stock, I would say just go right to the enhanced throttle tune if you look into getting it
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the normal mode throttle mapping with the enhanced throttle tune is what used to be the stock mapping for sport mode. Sport mode throttle map is pretty responsive over the original, but not what I would call twitchy, it's just right, probably how it should have been factory
I have been using OV's tune for 1 year now, it's true that I never received any further updates since the purchase.
Despite the lack of support, I am quite happy with OV's tune (it delivered what it was advertised for), but I don't mind upgrading to a better tune.
I am considering to switch to D3 after hearing all the good things here, however, it's currently out of stock on D3's website, not sure when it'll be back for sale.
Hi @tnilc , is it better than OV's tune in terms of throttle response?
The tune itself wasn't bad.
But Orange Virus scammed all of Lexus owners. We never got the support services that were offered with purchase.
Therefore Matthew and Orange Virus, now known as VFTuner are a bunch of scammers and are not to be trusted. If they don't reply to your emails, their excuse is always check your spam or someone is either sick or hurt and can't work on their product so it will be delayed. They should be banned from this forum IMO.
Two weeks ago in Dubai I did tune my car 2014 is350 RWD
Check out my thread
Hey man, I'm looking for somewhere nice and good around the budget in Dubai.
Where do you usually get your mods?
one more question please, do you use OEM air intake or replaced it?
Word on the street is D3 is going to be offering a charge pipe here soon. Be on the look out for preorders.
Pairs really nicely with their tune, mo power baby!
