loudest exhaust setup
So I'm running an invidia midpipe with a custom magnaflow axleback system (2 3/8 inch piping for the axle back). I thought it was loud half a year ago but I'm used to it now and am wondering if I can go any louder without having to go with headers or taking off the mufflers. I've heard of the loop muffler system but I just cannot justify spending 4k on the system haha. Is my current setup already the loudest possible or am I able to go louder?

I think the GTHaus Meisterschaft exhaust is one of the loudest I've heard.

That and Ark.
Headers will add a good amount of noise too if you just want to keep your current setup.

It's a pretty penny though

From my experience after owning 3-4 different exhausts:
If you want loudest exhaust "setup" on a 3IS, and not the loudest exhaust "system" by a certain brand, it will be Invidia Midpipe (Catless) with Magnaflow (or any aftermarket brand) Resonators, and straight 2.25/2.5" test pipes over the mufflers. You will lose low-end torque without the mufflers and cats, but if it's volume you're going for, that will provide the deepest, roundest sound without excessive rasp. Expect decent amount of droning when accelerating. I have not yet tried the PPE Headers so I don't know anything about that... but from what I've heard, it adds volume but also quite a bit of rasp.
This setup will not improve performance from my experience... it is purely for sound, as that is what the OP is looking for.
this was my last setup with midpipe & testpipes with stock resonator: (it sounds deeper/louder in real life as with any exhaust clips recorded with phones/cameras)
