It will probably fit.
The filter is the same and the tube is similar.
Selling price is $200
The filter is about $50 which means that pipe is 150.
Not the best bang for buck IMO

Would almost be smarter to just buy the filter and see if it makes a difference. Anyone think the KN filter is better then the stock filter?

Not sure if I'm interpreting the this test correctly, but looks like the KN filter produces that same amount of airflow as the stock filter. This is according to a dyno chart KN does on all of their filters. This PDF is specific to our 3IS KN air filter part # 33-2452.

The air filter OE or otherwise is probably not the restriction. The KN filter theoretically flows more than the paper filter but the stock air box can only flow so much.

bumping thread, does anyone have this filter/tube combo?

Amazon.com: K&N 69-8704TP Performance Intake Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: K&N 69-8704TP Performance Intake Kit: Automotive

Seems like a good alternative to other tube+filter set-ups.

Is there a difference between that one and this one
K&N 69-8702TP Typhoon Polished Air Intake System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001C4SLJK..._LikHwbHEJX4ZM

Besides the $100 difference

Yes, one uses the factory intake box and just replaces the filter and tube while the more expensive one replaces the intake system entirely

I beginning to question their figures and dyno numbers, since the best intakes for the 3is struggle to give 5 HP gain. Not to mention that there are better intakes such as the afe fiber intake which is more resistant to heat soak effect, and still from dyno figures their gain is about 5 HP.
