I just got my Megan midpipe installed this morning and the installation well but one problem, does the check enegine light should be on? I just have the f sport cold air intake and the f sport exhaust and once they turned on the car the light went on. Is this normal since I have the midpipe installed?? I pluged in the OBD 2 and it said low circuit bank 2... Help friends!!

I self installed my Megan Mipipe and I have never got any error codes. I am running the F-Spot intake and the HKS Hi-Power exhaust. The hard part was getting the o2 senors unscrewed. That being said how did you remove your O2 sensors? I unhooked mine from the interior and that allowed me enough slack to unscrew them.

If you forced them is it possible you broke one of the wires loose?

This has been a 50/50 issue with members installing mid pipes. I did the Invidia and was lucky not to have this issue. Some have used extenders which pull the sensors further away from the exhaust and are supposed to "fix" the problem.

I say check the sensor and make sure there no exhaust leaks between the mid pipe to headers.

The only thing you touch with wires during install are the O2 sensors. I'd check those first.

Hell, I think if you remove all the pipes themselves it still won't give you a CEL warning.

I think I was thinking about the Y pipe.
Driving around with no axle backs shouldn't give you a CEL.You'll just look like a hybrid.

many people seem to damage the o2 sensors when trying to remove them because they are so hard to get out. hopefully yours didnt get damaged in the process
